In 2017, the Bridge Project launched the Bridge Builder Match Campaign, a million dollar campaign in support of Early Literacy and Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) programming, to leverage the power of philanthropy and double the impact of the gifts that make these programs possible.

Now in its third year of a five-year campaign, it is more important than ever to continue the success of the Bridge Builder Match and provide quality Early Literacy & STEM programming for youth residing in Denver’s public housing neighborhoods.

Building Bridges

STEM PROJECT

How much weight can your bridge hold? Our K - 5th graders built bridges as part of one of their STEM projects. Our Quigg Newton site tested the strength of the bridges and how much weight they could hold. One bridge built by the youth was destroyed during the experiment, while the other one held one of the Bridge students up, Zuri.

Early Literacy

GR8 READERS PROGRAM

Each year our youth receive 16 books as part of our Gr8 (Great) Readers program each student is given books at their reading level and has assignments that go along with them. Once completed, our youth keep the books to build their at-home library. Our educators create learning packets for each student to complete each book. See sample.
