The Bridge Project, a community outreach program of the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver, has provided a path to lives of purpose for youth in Denver’s public housing
neighborhoods since its founding in 1991. Through the collaborative spirit of our community partners, the invaluable commitment of volunteer tutors and mentors, and the generosity of our donors, the Bridge Project’s afterschool and summer programs continue to support youth living in and around public housing from childhood into the early stages of their careers. In 2017, the Bridge Project will launch the Bridge Builder Match Campaign, a million dollar campaign in support of Early Literacy and STEM programming, to leverage the power of philanthropy and double the impact of the gifts that make these programs possible.
